In keeping with the original look and heritage of the "Old West" cowboy boot, our vintage western cowboy boot handbags have their own unique flare and personal history. These purses are made from leather cowboy boot tops with a 1" stained oval wooden bottom that allows the purse to stand upright and provide more useable interior space. Each purse is trimmed around the bottom with either a 4" leather fringe or 1/2" inch leather trim secured with decorative silver, gold or bronze nail heads. The purses are fastened using 1/8" leather lace that wraps around various western style conchos to hold the purse shut. As a matter of preference, conchos can be traded out with any other style concho shown. The straps are made from various high-end vintage leather belts including Brighton, and Fossil belts and are selected to coordinate and compliment the leather uppers. Many of the straps utilize the original decorative buckle which allows the length to be adjusted.
